my ANH Lifesize Vader (almost) finished

I've been very unhappy with some parts of my Lifesize Vader
Display, so over the last few months I tried to obtain a few
new parts to make it a bit more "screen-accurate" .

Just last week I managed to finish the Chest Armor and the
Chest Box, so I grabbed the camera and took a few pics of
my "updated" ANH Vader - hope you all like him -

He's not finished yet ... still need a new Cape and Robe as
the ones I have are not "heavy" enough and also a few inches
too short, and a few "details" still need work, but I thought it
was worth showing now ... :rolleyes

... so I hope you'll enjoy the pics ...

(Perhaps swap the green beltbox buttons for some of the correct square ones, but an utterly awsome Vader all the same.)

By the way, can you share any info on the sources for the various components??? and are you going to subtly weather the helmet and armour?? (no-one seems to do that with their ANH Vaders.)

Hey - thanks a lot guys for all the nice comments -

The Chest Armor is a modified GH (Center-stripe sharpened up and flare reduced)
The Chest box is a Resin piece I bought off eBay with Alu Rods and ANH Coin Slots
from Russrep, sharpened up buttons and a custom Paint Job like the Armor.
The Beltboxes, Beltbuckle and Saber-clip are also from Russrep (his new Alu Boxes),
and the Helmet is my SPFX ANH ... so much for the Parts -

Glad you all like it - as I said - some Details have still to be taken care of, but all
in all I'm pretty happy with it right now - though I need a bigger Mannequin as I
can't put the Helmet over the Chest Armor as I wanted because the Helmet is
already stuck right underneath the Chin of the Mannequin - :$

Very nice photos and display there...you must be ecstatic .

Ya I noticed the ridge on the armor being squared off. Looks like the edges around the center section as well were sharpened a bit. The paintwork on the armor is very nice.
