I have just completed my ANH Vader costume.
What do you think ?

The Helmet and chest armor was from SPFX

the belt and chest box was made from someone of this forum so not sure as to where all the parts came from.

The cod piece was from corpse guy on Ebay

gloves from Ebay

Body suit and cape and robe from custom props.

I have just to add the saber hook to the belt.

Please use photobucket or some other outside service as the on-board attached picture option is really slow and freezes my computer.

From what I saw it looked rather nice. :thumbsup

Thanks , I have reloaded pics, Should be ok now.

Looks great to me! Not being any sort of a Vader expert, I would be interested if your post contained more information, the source of your parts, what you may have modified, what you are still (if anything) working on.

So, tell us more. Thanks!

Ah, now that's working better. For ANH I think you should push the belt boxes closer in towards the belt buckle. And... you're missing the lightsaber. Is that a coming addition?

Thanks, Thanks for the advise. Saber will be next to add.

Very good costume there. My only suggestion is to see if there's a way to make the torso portion of your suit have more wrinkles. Everything else makes a very passable Vader.

Buddy of mine suggested taking the leather suit, wadding it up in a big ball as tight as you can and wrap rubber bands around it to hold it in place......or string or whatever you have..............leave it for a few days. Then it will have the familiar ANH suit wrinkles in it. :)

That's the equivalent of what we bachelors do when we don't fold our clothes immediately after taking it out of the dryer. Good thinking! :lol

Easy solutions are sometimes so close, if we're only willing to think different :lol

Hi Eddie,

Looking great :thumbsup

I especially like the 4th photograph it captures the Vader look.

More pics please when you get your mannequin.

Cheers Chris
