My 300 Spartan helmet

Here is my 300 Spartan helmet. Big thanks to Seeker and FettPride for making this helmet happen. I did the weathering like Astinos from the movie instead of just some random one. In person it is a bit more shiny but more or less it looks like this.

And one pic of the screen used for comparison: Mine is just missing the blood and it might get some before it's all said and done.

Looks Beautiful ! How did you finish/paint it ? got a Sgt Fang Spartan I am finishing up. Looks alot darker than yours, maybe I need more rub-n-buff.

Mine wasn't rub and buffed that might have been why yours ended up darker. Mine was painted as follows:

Light grey primer
Gloss black
Rustoleum Metailic gold
Black acrylic wash
blot up black
repeat wash till happy.

It's made of fiberglass. It is a great cast, very clean with almost not clean up involved. All I had to do was cut out the T visor area and add my damage and that was it.
