Well I know you are supposed to post your Work In Progress pics first before the event but I was in a hurry, used a new digital camera, and couldn't find a memory stick reader for the large memory card format. Now I did!!!
My kids gear is even more SA then my own which has me inspired to work on new belts, baldric, and perhaps a tricorn.
All the gear:

Beads...mostly made of polymer clay except the pya! I am working on a scaled down version of the long dangle in polymer clay too but it is taking a little bit longer!
The belts. Like I said his are WAY more SA then mine. The colors are so close to the real deals but now I know how to stain my new belts. I used a similar method on his belts like I did on my COTBP belt. Wet the leather and beat it with a hammer!!!! Next just bend and twist! Bend and twist! Bend and twist! This gives the leather a nice weathered texture. Stain is used to continue that weathered look as well.
All the buckles were purchased from ArrrrrBay from a seller in China. Naturally they are all WAY too small for us 1:1 scaled Jacks but for a munchkin they are PERFECT. Same goes for the baldric buckle. I bought them about 1 1/2 years ago and just waited for the kid to grow up!!!
My most favorite part!!! The sailor's glove! Why? I mean come on! Look how cute it looks!!!! Scaled to his hand size!
And lastly as we Jacks say, "Gear up!" This was a practice run before the Mickey event and of course it was good for me to practice because it helped me remember how to put on me own gear!!!!!

Disney's ready made costume (which I plan on modding to make it more SA) and the sash!

But daddy I don't have pirate chest hair???? That is what he said!
The sailor's glove that he ended up wearing that night to bed!

And to top it off with the cherry on top!!! The leather tricorn! Scaled to his noggin but also a wee bit oversized which should last him until he turns 10? I am hoping later in life me friend Avril will allow me to commission her to make a scaled up Captain Jack outfit for him!!!
Moving around in his gear! It was hard for him to sit down with both belts on AND we had to practice "EMERGENCY EGRESS" when it was time to "potty!"
I showed him a promo studio picture of Johnny Depp in his Captain Jack gear from Curse Of The Black Pearl and asked him to pose! This is what I got! Love this pic!
What is next?
- Wig but that won't happen until birthday bash 4! Pirate party!
- Pirate boots. I may modify his existing boots with suede leather.
- Ve Neil pirate palette for his facial hair! Don't know about danglies though!
- COTBP look! Just need to make another belt and cast a baldric buckle.
