My 1st Sculpt: Comic Book Bane mask… need advise!

Greeting all,

I sculpted my 1st mask ever.. Love the way this is turning out and Im using Monster Clay. How can I achieve a glass like smooth surface? I'm currently using 91% alcohol and hitting it with a heat gun (very gently) but I still can't seam to get the clay to smooth out. Still seeing some of the "brush" strokes and a few blemished. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I asked the guy who sculpted that abraham lincoln thats usually portrayed on the monster clay label awhile back, 'cause I wanted a smooth down surface. He just said he used his finger, lightly made circular motions. Hope that helps? :unsure I managed to get a smoother look doing so and it did remove the brush strokes(I stopped heating it while trying to smooth 'cause it would clump up)
And by the way, this mask is awesome!

Thanks Jon.. I'll give that a try.. and Im pretty excited about this sculpt.. I hope to have it ready on time for MegaCon

if its oil base use some lighter fluid, works a treat
