Museum Replicas Skywalker Ceremonial Jacket - Can it be dyed?

Listed as poly/cotton blend. Anyone know if it can be dyed? Anyone tried?

Perhaps you could find a small piece cut of the fabric from somewhere inside and do a test run? I'd assume the yellow is also a colour wash on top of the white cotton/poly blend?
