MR Studio Scale Paint Question?

*UPDATE* Now looking for a skilled model painter to repaint the MR Snowspeeder - PM me if interested in the job and asking price.

Hey guys - does anyone know if heat exposure during shipping can cause paint breakdown on any of the MR studio scale props? Case in point - I shipped a snowspeeder via UPS ground, and it took 4 days to arrive (in Texas). The ship was in perfect condition when shipped, but upon arrival there are small paint blemishes/chips on top of the ship. I've not heard of this happening before, and was wondering if prolonged heat during shipping (like in a UPS truck/tractor trailer) could have caused this over a few days? The ship was wrapped very well in layers of bubble wrap as well if that adds to any speculation. Thoughts?? :confused

Any feedback would be appreciated.

The ship itself was wrapped in bubblewrap? Or just the inner box?

I doubt the inside of a UPS truck, even in Texas, in April gets hot enough for the paint to bubble. I mean, the ABS parts would probably start to warp at the same temperature.

I guess the bubblewrap could have bonded to the surface of the model, but it would (probably) look more like some type of sticky residue as opposed to paint bubbling.
