MR has made mini lightsaber flashlights and laser pointers :)

I was in Radio shack and picked up the Darth Vader LED flashlight and laser pointer.

I got the half maul laser pointer also (Not sure if MR made the mini flashlight for maul)


There is also Luke skywalker (I think ESB) flashlight and laser pointer and yoda flashlight and laser pointer.

These are very small. (Meant for your keychains.

I would say about 1/2 the size of the .45 mini sabers.

I am very happy with them.

I do not have pictures (I know, I suck), but these are really cool.

Thought I would let you all know.

Also, radio shack will be getting the build your own FX lightsaber kits also.

Not bad for $20. Although you could probably put a laser inside of the .45's for the same amount.

Just picked up the ANH Vader flashlight. They had ANH Luke, Vader, ROTS Yoda and a Half Maul laserpointer. All the others were LED flashlights. Flashlights were $9.99, laserpointer was $19.99. The flashlight turns on by pushing the activator switch, its got 2 modes, 2 blinks, the other stays on. Has removable acrylic blade. The ANH Vader one i got seems to be made of metal and has a nice chrome finish, where the ANH Luke was all plastic, not shiney at all.

"This is not a toy. Intended for adult use only." ....HUH?

I've seen a few of these at my mall's RS; But, they look to me like regualar laser pointers and not much more, and they're only $9.95 here... :thumbsup

I saw them the other day and wasn't impressed but for the price I guess it's fair.

That might be the flashlight or they might have mis-priced it. At $9.95 I would get the laser!

They had an assembled BYO saber on display when I was in there the other day. I had really wanted one of the kits until I played with (ahem, I mean tested) the assembled one. Blade is not very bright and significantly shorter than the regular FX sabers.

Anyone have the laser pointer ? I actually would want to use this for work, but if its not that bright then its not worth it to me.

The Laser pointer is pretty bright.

In daylight I was able to shine it a good distance against a bright wall.

I got the Vader laser pointer today. I will say it's pretty cool and don't know why someone didn't think of this sooner. I picked up a couple flash lights for the kids. They had a green LED Yoda, red Vader, and a blue Luke ANH. I also saw the BYO FX sabers they had but didn't look too close at them.

These flash lights will make great stocking stuffers.
