MR Falcon Display ideas? (again sorry)

okay, i did search and some of the pictures are gone, i'm wanting to display may falcon on the top of bookcases, I just wanted any other ideas or a better look at the ikea billys, so anyone with picutres /ideas to share, let me add I'm wondering if theres a way to make a cheap multi level display so i an add the EFX X wing to it someday

I used the "Better Homes" black 3 shelf bookcases from Walmart. I put 2 together assembled as 1. It looks great and fits the Falcon base perfectly. I plan on adding a glass door to keep my son out and displaying my SS X-wing and Tie on the shelves below with LED spotlights on them. Stupid Walmart doesn't have them on their website anymore but I just bought them in store around Thanksgiving. They were about $60 each and $6 back if you didn't want the "Better Homes" subscription. I will try to get some pics up soon. I looked all over and this is the best option I came up with...

@Pauly : Great setup ! One day, ONE DAY ... I´ll have enough room to spare for displaying my collection similar to what you did ...

@BigTurc : Great idea with the posters for each ship. I´m thinking ESB for a possible SS Slave I. And the pose of that mannequin, if it was posed even more relaxed you´d think that Stormy is on holidays :lol J/K, it looks so darn natural.

Actually, that mannequin's pose is nothing but horrible! It feels like a stormtrooper on a fashion show or something! Still, never got the guts to cut it in pieces and make it better .. and probably never will!

1:1 mannequins take so much places .. you really have to have big rooms for them as I kinda disike a crowded collection!

They are actually from Ikea-( I can' remember the model number) I bought 4 of them and just anchored them to each other with L brackets and lit the inside of each shelf by attaching 2 sylvania LED Dots to the ceiling of each shelf- you can get the self sticking dots here http://www.sylvania.com/ConsumerProducts/AutomotiveLighting/Products/Dotitlights/

It all worked great for the falcon!

From earlier in the thread, and I have completed the acrylic case utilizing the tutorial that was posted on the board a while back, I will try to get some updated pics...
