MR "Build your own" Lightsaber FX on sale at Radio shack

However i saw it for sale at my local store for $69 today, however that sale ends tommorrow.
i didnt really want it, however the cheaper price is making it more appealing

A friend of mine picked one up and suggested to me to pass. He said its not much more than a beefed up Hasbro toy saber. Doesn't get anywhere near enough to an FX.

For whatever that's worth... easy pass for me.

wow, they were at 120 something, guess they arent movin like they thought they would.

already old news for me, as these were discussed when they released them. the skinny is, only thing these are good for is the soundboard inside them, the rest are a combo of some metal pipe ans crappy plastic parts, feels cheap, looks cheap. a poor try to capture some cash before the license ends.\

if you want a MR board for a different saber build, at 69 bucks or 79 bucks, thats still kinda high, considering at one time Tim on TCSS sold them for 45 bucks.

they are plastic
if they ahd more metal on them, id snatch one up

not all of it is plastic. the main pipe is metal, the clamps, the shrouds etc... theyre all plastic.

I'd still go for a FX. I saw this one and it kinda look unrealistic. Cant compare to a FX. For 10-20$ more you can go on ebay and get a better one dont you think?
