Mq-1 Uav Armor Mod For First Suit

So I wasnt really sure if this would go here, or in the full suit builds. Anyway my base is doing the maintenance professional of the year banquet (MPOY) and I am on the decorations comity. I shot out the idea of having the predator there to my Lieutenant since our side was the MQ-1 side. I was thinking he would want to do some tiger colored armor because my AMU is called tiger. He loved the idea but had some input. He suggested painting the armor to look like the aircraft. Well my brain got working and I expanded on this. I will be using my old suit, but I will use my new half mask with classic bio instead. The armor will be a slate grey with a worn tone. The shins will have a checkerboard pattern and mock tail number on them. On the back pack I will be making a mock MTS ball with a wire connecting to the helmet. This will give the appearance that it is feeding video feed directly. The last piece will be adding 2 hell-fire missiles to the shoulder cannon to mimic the weapons capability. I am really excited about this, and only have until the 1st of March to get it done. The smaller armor pieces are already cast using the molds I had from my first build. For those who might not know, I was given permission from JasonX a while back to mold some extra latex pieces he had sent with the skins I bought from him a while back. I am working a custom gauntlets right now, blade first. The base of the gaunts are made from soccer shin pads. I am also molding my plasma caster from my first build. The blades on the gaunt are a sculpt by me (only the second thing I have done in clay). Any way let me know what you guys think and more to come.

So I have a slight update on this project. My blade gauntlet is primed and ready for paint. I made it out of craft foam, and then gave the foam a light coat of resin. The idea behind this it to see if it keeps the paint from cracking like it did on my backpack and back plate of the original armor. The picture added is without primer. I also got the half mask that I will be using painted up. I am going to put that in a different thread though since this is supposed to be only for armor. Anyway, thanks for looking. Any ideas to improve is always appreciated.

So I havent updated in a while but Im back. I painted the P1 I have and the armor thats made. Im really happy with how it all turned out. I got the mold pulled for my shoulder cannon, and a cast out. I was a bad pull, but I can get it cleaned up. Pics of that to come. The mold was a one and done, damn thing tore when I pulled the cast. Oh well. Here is a pick of the armor so far. Should be good to go for my hunt on March 1st. Just ordered some of huntermoon's awesome dread beads for the half mask. Well hope you all like it, and more to come. Thanks for looking.
