Limited Run <<< MPP >>> anyone??? _ NOW SHIPPING!!!

I did the same. Nice work. Mine is weathered already. I'm going for the prop store original look all beat and westhered. Already have roys steel shroud on it. Just waiting for parts.

Does your Roy’s steel shroud fit? Mine doesn’t seem to fit and leaves a gap above the bulb release

Anyone else try 2-56 screws for the grips? Any pics?

I bought some screws from Ace that looked to fit. Matched them up to a set of roys grips in the store. (Got funny looks) not sure about the numbers. Didn't pay attention . They are number 4 threads though. I bought the tap to fit them

My ordered grips haven't arrived yet so I can't post any results

I was in a local lumberyard the other day. They have a much larger nut and bolt selection then my ace (ace is now the only hardware store in my town.. sears and the family owned hardware store closed)

I found some 2-56 screws, but they were Phillips head. Didn’t have the right hemisphere shape, but looked the fit for the oval size

fits yes. They all have the same gap. It was designed that way.

Mine looks just like the picture however, they are stainless. I will need to paint them.

Ok, the more I look at the prop shop real vader, it looks like the track is not straight cut . Is it cut on a degree? Or at least rounded?

my eyes are seeing the front of the hilt cuts to be straight.
the rear cuts at an angle

The T track is straight cut 100%. You're overthinking it. It's just bashed and worn, but they're straight up and down cut off ends.

I got these plastic M2.5-0.45 to experiment with, but I can't quite tell if they are too big or not. I cut the threads off so it was just the head so I can glue them on without drilling the grips or MPP tube.

So close... just a tad too large. The top profile looks great! Any chance they have any smaller ones? Theses are super close!

Sorry if these are newbie questions, but I haven't worked on an MPP before. For an FX saber, does the endcap have to be replaced? Because as it is now, once the grips are on the cap can't be removed for recharging, etc. Or is the chassis removed from the other end?
