Does the thumbscrew on anyone elses sit this crooked? it does this even if i just screw it into the shroud when its not on the MPP body too, so its like the threading hole is crooked.

Also is it normal to see the chrome chrome kind of discolored and yellow around all the cutouts on the body?

Yeah both of mine are crooked as well. Cant tell if the thumbscrew itself is bent or if the tapped hole in the shroud isnt perpendicular. Kinda leaning towards it being the shroud since its so hard to screw in.
Mine also both have discoloring around the holes for some reason

I have to commend Roman and two things. First and always the quality of his work. I got the Gen 2 Graflex and MPP today and could not be happier. I like the shorter bunny ears on the Gen 2! The second thing is that we should all be grateful how well organized Roman must be to produce these items AND get them to us all properly. I know my order spaned a couple conversion kits, the Gen 2 and MPP, all with different email chains and payments and yet Roman kept it all together and got my stuff to me error free! Bravo, sir!
Now I have my three ANH sabers by the same maker :love

Yes, I've noticed the thumbscrews are a bit askew. I do believe some Vintage shrouds are like that. In person it's not off by much.

As far as the chrome, there usually is minor discoloration where they are wired up or at openings. From most angles it can't be seen, but under certain lighting and at a certain angle the electrical marks seem to show up more.

Guys, if there's ever and issue please don't hesitate to email me. :)

Sorry I guess I should have just messaged you directly, I wasnt trying to call you out or anything, just mostly posted out of curiosity if those were normal features of the MPP. I know the originals were basically bootlegs of other flashes, so those werent even perfect.

Just ordered a TCSS clamp for the silver bars, we'll see how they fit. I love this thing otherwise, the heft is impressive and its the best MPP replica anyone has made to date without a doubt.

Grip screws were only there after filming, right? Not on screen? Or is that a loaded question?

No shipping update yet. No saber yet. Like my man Tom Petty says, the waiting is the hardest part.
