Movies that make you cry.

Four movies do it to me.
Castaway when hanks looses Wilson. Dont know why.

Forest Gump when he's standing over his mothers grave talking to her. Ever since my mother passed away

Saving Private Ryan. When the old Ryan tells his wife Tell me im a good man.

Marley and Me. Wanted to hang myself after watching the ending. Absolutely will not watch again since my dog passed away.

A.I. Artificial Intelligence - last time I watched it was before I became a dad. It affected me in the past but I never cried until I watched it last night with my wife.

The Tree of Life. A lot of stuff in that movie made me bawl, but none so more than when the dinosaur did NOT kill that other sick dinosaur, insinuating the first instance of compassion on Earth.

Movies that leave me with a sense of WTF tend to have me in tears...

Tree Of Life
Fireflies In The Garden
Mud
Road To Perdition

I cloud up at pretty much any act of self sacrifice or redemption scenes. But actual movies that make me cry, I can't really think of any off the top of my head.

Edit:

I just realized I watched All Dogs Go To Heaven a few months ago and the end turned me into an inconsolable 3 year old child. I had avoided that movie since my childhood because I knew it would have that sort of impact lol

Hell, I cry at movies and TV all the time. Funny thing is that I hardly ever cry at real life.

Same here, THere are too many movies and TV shows to list for me but I suck it up like a man in real life. There's no room for it in my real world to cry or blubber about, I take care of my business then, if I need the release of a good cry, I will watch a movie that I know will induce it in private.

I don't think anything will ever match the emotional roller-coaster "Schindler's List" put me through.
That movie destroyed me.

Dumbo, when his mother is caged and she's rocking him in her trunk... Honest to God ever since I was alittle kid I can't watch it to this day...

All through my life I'd never cried at any film, not because I'm some sort of tough guy more like I was born without an emotion gene.
That changed when I saw Forrest Gump a few years back- the scenes where Jenny dies and he talks to her at the grave side.
For some reason my gene kicked in and I blubbed like a baby!

Yes! I have seen the movie countless times and I still tear up at that scene.:cry Poor guy loses everyone that was ever important to him and he never did a darn thing wrong.

Joy Luck Club - at the end when the dad tells her the story of her mom and gives her the duck feather.

I have to agree with you on that one. I've only seen Dumbo once and after that scene, I cannot ever watch it again.
