Movies that make you cry.

Re: Movies you have cried watching

Yep Green Mile. Man... When the finally send him to the chair, and he gives his little speech, gets me every time.
The Notebook. When the 2 of them are found dead on the bed holding hands at the end. That gets me every time too.
Star Wars of course. Order 66 gives me a tear and the Anakin/obi wan verbal exchange while Anakin is lying on the bank burning never fails to get me.
The end of ROTJ when Vader finally comes good but normally this version- Fast, Free Video Hosting & Video Sharing - VideoBam gets me the most

A. I.

Saw once in the theatre. I don't think I could watch it again.

Re: Movies you have cried watching

The end of "Mask" when Cher is putting the tacks on the world map.

The start of "Up."

Toy Story 3 when they were in the incinerator and at the end when Andy gave them away.

Grosse Pointe Blank when his woman catches him right after he killed the guy in the hallway and he's pleading with her "This isn't me!" It was a bad time in my life and other than the hired killer part, this movie was hitting alot of things happening in real life between me and my now ex.

Warehouse 13 Christmas episode. Had just lost my Mom and Christmas was on the way and many of the folks were dealing with not being with family and I started balling. Had little to do with the show I know. :lol

"Hatchi: A Dog's Tale." I cried for nearly a full hour of this movie. When it was over my fiance looked at me, who had also been crying through the whole damn thing, and goes "Where was the happy ending? There was supposed to be a happy ending."

Re: Movies you have cried watching

Ohhhh Hachi. The end of that where he's just sitting at the train station for years and years waiting... That was truly heartbreaking

Re: Movies you have cried watching

The speech that Rocky gives his kid in Rocky Balboa gets me too.

Re: Movies you have cried watching

Armageddon for me - when Harry tell Grace that he won't be able to walk her down the isle... gets me every time:cry
First 10 minutes of the latest Star Trek
First 10 minutes of UP
End of Toy Story 3 when they're all holding hands

Re: Movies you have cried watching

I cried at the end of the very last episode of season 7 of Buffy... not because of plot or events... but because I had now viewed all the episodes.. and there was to be no more.

Oh... and Big Fish. I cried like a baby... a hungry, angry baby.

Re: Movies you have cried watching

If tv episodes are exceptable to post then Doctor Who SE5 E10: Vincent and the Doctor. The ending really choked me up and that doesnt happen very often! I can hardly talk about the ending without getting chills and choked up lol.

Re: Movies you have cried watching

Titanic, when an hour+ into it, it became obvious what a POFS i'd spent my hard-earned money on.

Re: Movies you have cried watching

E.T. even though I've seen it 100 times. I can even be listening to the John Williams "good-bye" music from the end and I tear up.

The Green Mile

just to name a few

As I get older much more seems to emotionally effect me.

Re: Movies you have cried watching

Braveheart...when Robert the Bruce is talking to his father about betraying William Wallace and when they torture Wallace at the end....

also
Green Mile
Toy Story 3
and the Muppet Movie when Kermit is singing Rainbow Connection

Re: Movies you have cried watching

Superman. When Jonathan Kent dies, it always gets me.

Up's beginning was depressing as hell.

Shindler's List. Liam got me bawling during his speech.

I also got suckered into watching Radio. When his Mom dies, Niagra Falls.

And since I just watched it, the 1951 version of A Christmas Carol. When Alastair Sim's Scrooge begs his sister to forgive him for not taking care of her boy, BOOM! Tears.

In Greystoke, when Tarzan's Gramps breaks his neck going down the stairs, cry. Also, when Chistophe yells, "He was my faaaaaaaaaaaaaather!", buckets. I haven't seen that movie since I was five, but still. It's a tear-jerker.

And lastly, the ending of Gran Torino.

Have any of you guys seen the 2010 movie "Trust"?
Just watched it tonight and the part after the fbi agent tells the girl there were other girls and she has a breakdown in the psychiatrists office when what actually happened finally hits her... yep

Re: Movies you have cried watching

on a more serious note, some people have mentioned a couple of my faves already. touching bits for me :-
- The Last Samurai, when the army guys stop firing and all kneel in honour
- The Crow. The bit where Ernie sayd to Brandon "I'm sorry as Hell about your girl" and Brandon just goes "yeah" ~ there's such a wealth of pain and feeling and sadness in that one moment.
- The People vs Larry Flynt, at the end, when he's watching the film of Althea as Dream Believer is playing
- Scrubs, the episode where Brendon Fraser died. *superb* piece of writing. when you found out what was actually gonig on it was like a gut punch.
