Movie F/X

I sent this via PM but just in case it goes un answered, here it goes. Please, if anyone wants to defend Guidon or Guido keep it to yourself. I am tired of this run around. I asked for a very reasonable request. Send me what Guidon has sent you to fill my order. I don't need the helmet anymore. If he does not have it or can't make it, I can live with that. Just send the suit please. I have four TK helmets so it will not be the end of the world if I don't get this one right away. I do however want the armor that you have had now for several weeks. I ask again "just send the armor" and tell Guidon to send my helmet to someone that has been waiting for their helmet for as long as I have been waiting for the full suit. I would like what I paid for (anh armor + standard shipping + expedited shipping) but I have all but given up on that happening. I paid for shipping twice (shame on me) so I don't understand what the big deal is to ship my merchandise that you have in hand.

Craig I have your armor here but still waiting for the helmet. All other parts I have but I would not like to sent the armor first and than the helmet seperatly because I´m the person who must pay the shipment first before I will get the money back from Guidon.

Also I did not forgett the Snowtrooper helmet and ROTJ armor for the other 2 members here. I only could phone Guidon and ask if the parts are ready and wait to get them.

OK the jokes over man. Where is the suit? If you have the parts you say you have just send them to me and forget about the helmet. There, now what do you have to say? I hope you are not going to tell me that you lost the boxes. I have been more than patient. I know this may not be your fault and that you were trying to help but I am telling you now that I will just accept the armor without the helmet if it will get this over with. I have waited far to long to get what I paid for. Please send me my suit to ;

I have your armor now here in my company for about short over one week so why did you tell here that I have it now for several weeks??? What´s your problem ??? I´m trying to help people out that have had problems with Guidon in the past and also I´m doing that in my freetime and I did not get any money for that. I also told you that I have to pay for the shipment from my own money if I send the packages out and than I can look to get the money back from Guidon. If you think that this is fun for me sorry it´s not. You did not bought anything from me and if you think that this all is fun for me your wrong. If you think that´s the right way to call with me than I also can handle that on another way and you can look for yourself to get your parts from Guidon. Not any problem for me.

So once again that last status for today is that I have the ANH Armor without the helmet and I wait to have it complete. Also I got the Snowtrooper helmet for the other RPF member today.

Why would anyone defend Guidon? Anyone who has ever dealt with him has had nothing but problems. I know I have had my fair share. Guido, on the other hand from the looks of it, is trying to help. Looks like what we have here is failure to communicate. I have been trying to get somebody.....anybody to help me get my TK helmet. I have been e-mailing Guidon everyday for 6 months now in the hope that he will get tired of my e-mails and send the helmet. I think that he thinks that I am going to go away. Not gonna happen. I hope that CWR and Guido gets this worked out. Those of us who are being screwed by Guidon could use all the help we can get.

I have never said anything negative toward Guido.... I have only emailed /pmed him to see if he could help and he did. I am VERY thankful for that...so...GUIDO...Thank you a million times over.

as for GuidoN, I will never deal with him again, he did get my product to me over an extended period of time, which was never supposed to be this long. If he was honest and upfront about the wait I would not have had a problem. He however, said time and time again, "it will be sipped tomorrow, or next week". and that was 19 months ago....I have EVERY email saying the schedule and what not.

on a plus, I asked for a kit, it is apparently put together.

on a minus- I still need the front pleather parts...and a question to those who know, is there some in the back????

Oh and I have to pay extra shipping, but at this point, as long as my helmet gets to me is all that matters. ESPECIALLY since GUIDO has worked on his spare time for me, with out knowing me from a hole in the ground.

I would look tomorrow if I could help you also with the pleather face shield you still need oh and before I forget you don´t have to pay for shipment.
I would ship the helmet to you and I will get my money back from Guidon for the shipment that´s also for sure.

OK Guido,

I apologize for the public bashing. I just don't understand why if I am asking you to just send the armor and forget about the helmet why you are unwilling to do this. If the helmet is not in your hands by Friday, I publicly announce here that I will not ask you for the helmet later if you ship me the armor you are showing in the picture. The truth is, I appreciate what your doing but don't understand why you won't send my armor if you have it. I repeat, I don't need the helmet (I have four TE helmets which are much better anyway). Please just send the armor and I will be happy. And you are correct, you recieved the first box on the 1st of Feb and the second box I believe was a few days later so forgive me for my impatience (I have only been waiting for this stuff for 1 1/2 years).

I apologize for coming down on you when all you are trying to do is help. The real person I should be coming down on is Guidon.

I want to thank Guido for coming through on this. He sent me a copy of the shipping invoice today. I will let everyone know when the package arrives. This has been a long agonizing wait and it is nice to know that we have friends here at the RPF we can trust. I also want to thank odiwan72 for helping with the visibility on this and talking to Guidon on my behalf. You guys both went beyond the call of duty without question. I apologize if there were heated exchanges during this process and am now humbled by the generosity of both of you.

i also had no probs with guidon...

maybe it was because i live 3 hours ago from him and picked up my armor myself...
he was very kind and helpful while building.
i know there are MANY others out here waiting for parts or money refunds, so i really don´t want to defend MOVIE-FX or guidon at all.
if he had really wanted, he had lots of time to solve his history problems.
so this is no behavior for a seller. :thumbsdown

hey, what am i doing here... always wanted to stay away from MOVIE-FX threads...

Hello everyone,

I just wanted to update everyone on the progress with my Movie FX issue and say thanks to Guido for coming through on this. I recieved my package yesterday and everything was there as promised. I of course did not get my helmet but as stated earlier I chose to get what was available and call it a done deal. I am happy to have this behind me and am greatfull to Guido for coming through on this and helping a fellow RPF guy out. I can't say thanks enough to show how thankfull I am to have such great people like Guido on this board.

Craig what should I say I´m so happy that I could help you with your problem and that everything goes out well for you. If you have built up the suit I would like to see a pic you in that suit.

Brad as I told you before on email your helmet is also on the way to you and I think you also will be very happy with the end result. I must say that Snowtrooper helmet looked very cool and I´m self thinking to get a snowy one day.

I´m also still working and waiting for your ROTJ suit but man were is the problem to send me your complete adress with name and all? I would not like to wait after I got your suit till I got the infos from Mr. Messika. So please send me your complete adress with name and all and you will see also your suit will come up.

I got it.......Guido has done an excellent job of getting my COMPLETED helmet...I paid for a kit but with all the hulabaloo guidon sent the stuff to finish it and GUIDO did that for me...

I had very similar problems to this back in 2000. So 6 yrs on and he hasn't changed his ways. OK so I got a complete suit from him in the end but it took about 18 mths. It would seem he has a habbit of very long delays and sending incomplete kits.
