Molded Halo Marines

Its a complete complement, wouldn't you say Adam, to think anything is photo shopped in. They are just great photos of good costumes.

I'm Adam. Here are the rest of the pictures from that shoot. www.flickr.com/haloarmor

Yeah, I've gone through many suits. The ones you see with the marine are most recent. Probably on my 4th suit, with various paint jobs. The new one is made about half of foam rubber.

I've seen these pictures over on the 405th. Your armor is absolutely fantastic. I am hoping that one day, some sort of kit becomes available so that people like me who don't have the mold-skillz can tool around conventions like PAX in something like this.

I saw one last year and it was nice...but the images there are just....wow.

Well kudos to you, Adam, because that suit is stunningly realistic and accurate. So much so, that yes, I thought it might be photoshopped into the alley photo with Spase (who also looks dead-on as a Marine). Crikey!

That looks as good as the stuff that Bungie released around the launch of Halo 3 (which I thought was snippets from the Live action movie)

Damn, that's some great lookin' armor. I'd never be able to pull off either an MC or a marine, but what I wouldn't give for an MC helmet and assault rifle.

That could be arranged...

Actually, I don't know but I think those two photos belong together; And if it can be arranged to have some cool helmets, and a rifle, well I'd sure like to know how too. :lol

They really do, don't they?
I already sent off a PM, but yeah...owning one of these has been a dream since I saw one in person at Comic Con. They're just too amazing. I once heard that one of the guys who does these also does Robocop armor....and just about died.

Well then, start 'splainin' the arrangin'.

:lol:lol:lol

I can't even begin to imagine that these parts are inexspensive, but if I could start to imagine how much and for how long I'd have to save for, that would go quite a long ways :love.

Send me a PM or start a thread in the junkyard, lest the mods get all angered up over prices being discussed.

What Gigatron said :rolleyes
I would like to know also
PM is good also

Hey bro, these are killer badass!
Can you tell us what the differences are between them?
Based on this pic, my favorite one is the fourth one from the left.
Thanks!

bump :)

(ps~I've edited my previous posts where I referred to Spase as a "Colonial" Marine. I guess I had Aliens on the brain, but I've removed the "Colonial".)

All the same, just changing the paint schemes to see what I like the best.

The top and bottom are painted the same way. The grip on the top got some rubber on it, which is why it isn't as detailed. (i think it got rid of too much detail, even though it feels nice, maybe mold it seperately later)

Oh I see. Well I like the middle one in the above pic. I don't remember the ARs being as shiny-silvery as the other two. But I could be mistaken as I haven't played in a while.

I would cut out the grip part as illustrated:

Then make a rubber cast of it. Is that what you were thinking?

Thats not a half bad idea for the hand grip. certainly make it easier to install some electronics in there as well.

The next two suits are being created now, with a possible extra two going up for sale before D*Con. I am very excited to bring these suits with me. Now all I need is to work out a trade for a TK, and I'd be set.
