Moebius Iron Man...not quite stock

Hey cats!

I just wanted to share with you my recently finished Iron Man from Moebius. I didn't care for his static pose, so with a little jiggery pokery, I came up with this:

I had to use a little artistic liscense with the sub structure

In the end, the only parts that didn't get modified were the knee plates

If you are interested, I can post the link to the full build on Resin Illuminati.

Enjoy!

I love the base!
I'd have pushed it a little further and imprinted the hand into the concrete along with the cracks!!! :love

I was thinking I should have extended the torso down just a bit more, but considering I completely lucked out on getting it the way it is, I'm happy!

Next one's going to be a flying pose...just not sure when I'll be getting to it though!

That looks great and a lot better than my try. I did not think the posture could be changed much. How long did it take you to make the changes ?

Well, I'm at sea on deployment right now, so I have been working on it after hours, a few hours every night. I got 90% of it done in about a month, then I dropped it at the 99% mark! I had to reglue the legs, the left elbow, left hand and it's pinky finger. I got that all done, then I noticed the the two large cracks in the head! (man the plastic they used is brittle!)

Once that was done, I cleacoated him, and after a few days, polished the hell out of the finish! The concrete (plexiglass) base I made in a forenoon, paint and everything!

So all in all, a month and a half. If I didn't drop him, a month!

I just received mine in the mail and was wondering what to do with it. I love this idea and I think I will do something along the same line as you have done.

Great work...Thanks!

Alex
