Models we'd like to have seen made

For a change, I had one of those "right place at the right time" moments a couple of years ago. I was perusing evilBay and a young woman was selling one for a couple of dollars less than what the kit originally sold for (including shipping from the U.K. to the U.S.). She had received it as a gift, and didn't want it after she opened it and found out it had to be assembled and painted. If it weren't for that, I wouldn't have one either.

Ok I officially hate you now! :( LOL Lucky bastege!

How I would love the Space 1999 Ultraprobe, preferably in scale to Jim Small's Ultraprobe nosecone.
Followed by a decent Mig31 Firefox and Narn Heavy cruiser from Babylon 5.

While it's not a vehicle I would like to see a kit of Morbius' home from Forbidden planet.

Some more: From 2000ad comic.

The VC's starship as drawn by Gary Leach.
Justice1 from 2000ad's judge dredd story "the judge child"-drawn by Brian Bolland.
The merc skiff from "The chronicles of Riddick".
Another 2000ad effort, Dan Dare's space fortress, as drawn by Dave Gibbons.
Computer tank from the original tron movie.
Nell, from Battle beyond the stars.
The space battleship of "Sador of the Malmorie", from Battle beyond the stars.
Space 1999 Ultraprobe.(think I've already posted that, but what the hell...).

I'd really like to see one of the Tripod Martians from War of the Worlds. There's the Tom Cruise version but I want a vintage version not a modern update. Someone said there was something out there but I haven't seen one. A friend has a what seems to be rare metal model kit of the spider machine that captures humans in its basket, it looked pretty old. Hope someone has some good news but scratch seems to be the way to go.

I'd love to see the Cygnus! That'd be awesome... as well as a Leonav from 2010... and what about some of the ships from Starship Troopers?
There was a range of The Black Hole kits by MPC in 1979, I had the Cygnus kit which I seem to remember being huge (Although I was a kid)

A model that I have always wanted is the "Smiley Face" spaceship from Heavy Metal.
I thought it would make a great night light. Take a dose of some good nyborg, and just stare at it.....

ABC Warriors (2000AD) in Kev Walker guise. Particularly Mek-Quake, Blackblood and Mongrol.

The closest I've seen is some fairly woeful renditions of the Stallone Dredd's tipping its hat to Hammerstein.

I'd love to see a decent-sized version of the Merchantman from STIII, something around 10 inches, maybe. For some reason, I totally fell in love with that ship's design.

I've never seen those before! Were those just released in the UK or overseas??
No, they were released in the U.S.. Common with kits produced in the U.S. during that time, they have some soft detail, V.I.N.Cent's top "dome" is shaped incorrectly, and the Cygnus is missing an entire section of "fuselage" (presumably to make the size more workable for younger modelers, and to keep the price at a reasonable level), but they're not bad otherwise. Most of the time they go for ridiculous prices on evilBay these days, but you can occasionally find them at a price most modelers can live with.

Will have to keep my eyes open for them in the future. They look like pretty good kits!
