hey guys,just got this book.its pretty good.
mostly bandai kits but really well done.some scratchbuilt stuff mostly for dioramas.
there is pix of ILM models sprinkled through out book.some pix i've not seen before.
all in all i highly recommend buying it.

Wow, that book looks great. Is there any way I can beg you to do a high-res scan of this ship? It's the rarely seen "4 Triangles" pyro. I'd like to do a Bandai Y wing in its markings, but references are hard to come by. I've never seen a top view photo before.

Joe Johnston sort of shared them, a few connections State-side and in Japan got them... nothing beats vintage pics being scanned and logged!

Why does everything awesome only seem to be sold in Japan?

Between model kits, books and everything else all the best stuff seems to come from there and we get the crappy/half-assed stuff

i know cos i been buyin japanese books and models since the 80's.
