Mjolnir (My First Build) W.I.P

So. This is my first project ever. I am new to this world of prop making. And I do like it. I hope i can learn to do works like i have seen in here. Anyways. Here is my work. . .

I made my Mjolnir out of Foam and a PVC handle. I spray painted the head and gave a poor cover to the handle. It was made for Halloween just to have fun. I did it in a couple of hours. And i think i didn't waste more than $18 dollars :lol.

The reason i put here the pictures is to share them to you and also share info. I of course want it to look better. So I was thinking on using bondo. But i don't know if it will eat the foam. If its not recommendable what can i do ?

Also i want to know if the dimensions i used are good. Because I am just 5' 7" and the Hammer looks HUGE! but i like it jeje. I dont know. Let me know what you think :)

If its soft foam, then cover it with some latex milk.

If it´s hard foam, then you could use paper mache, and then bondo the heck out of it. Or use smoothcast IIRC to cover it, works better than fibreglassing, since it won´t eat away the foam.

Is it easy to cut soft foam without it looking rigged and jaggedy? I found 15x15x15" cube and might size that down for one of these
