Hey guy's. I have with me about 15 lbs. of water based clay. I have just ordered about 11 lbs. of klean klay and was wondering what you all thought of sculpting a base model of the mask with the water based clay not adding any detail and then using klean klay on top to give it all the detail? I am just trying to save as much clay as possible to maybe do another mask? i am not sure how the two clays will blend and mix?

If you were mixing one type of water based clay with another I don't think there would be much of an issue. But if you mixed an oil based clay with a water based clay I would assume the natural reaction of the two would be to separate. Not completely sure though.

Well thanks guys! I appreciate the advice. I guess the plus side is that if it doesnt work well i can always take the klean klay off since it never dries! lol. ill post pics when i start
