I do understand that. And I said early on, if I am wrong and it is not him, i will apologize and ship the item. But if it is him, I will try to locate the party who lost the item. And if it is him, I will take my chances with legality. I personally think he won't show his face or contact me if he know we outed him.

He always has different locations. I believe that was one of his stomping grounds. The current address was in TooWong.

Hello I am new here, and I must admit have been going spending crazy. I mean stuff I wanted for years is here, all you have to do is pay and wait for it to come in.

So my question is did he sell fake stuff, or not ship stuff? I am bit worried about being screwed now, although everything I am after at the moment comes from what seems to be major players. Thanks

The guy was a con artist that mainly dealt with trade deals. He would promise to sent stuff in return for your items. The forum does rely a lot on trust and this guy took anything and everything off people with out sending anything in return, he got thousands of $s worth of stuff off people before he was banned..

Maybe we should start a forum with all his aliases and addresses so people can be aware of who they're dealing with. I won't likely ever trade with someone, but it sickens me to think I might send something to this D-bag that he'll scam someone else with...

First of all, welcome to the RPF :)

And first lesson : Don't just push the 'send payment' button left right and centre.

Do your research, then go for it. If in doubt, get a second opinion.

This forum is an absolute treasure trove of information.

In time, you'll get used to the 'flow' of things, and it will become second nature.

Always ask if you have a question about a seller on here or on ebay. Actually it wouldn't hurt to ask about a prop in general to see if it's worth the money.

The junkyard is accessible to all except non-members. New members must have at least 20 posts and be members for 45 days to become full members (allowed to sell). These posts must come from outside the junkyard. However, there is no restriction on buying from the junkyard. It is at the discretion of the seller to discriminate among customers.

At least, that is my understanding.

ETA: Looks like I'm a bit late on the take. Oops.

I just got an email from Mitchell on my personal email outside the rpf, asking for his item back or the figure promised to him. Ha ha ha... The nerve of the little scammer. I might feel bad for him if I wasn't sure that it is the same idiot, but since the mods confirmed it, I dont. I will hold the item until I can find the rightful owner.

Maybe you should tell him that you will return it when he returns all the thousands of dollars of items that he scammed from people.

I have nothing in the stake of this but I read the entire thread of what happened earlier in the year and it made my blood boil.
