Miss Piggy Puppet SHOWCASE

I noticed most of you here in the prop forum do not visit the junkyard often and thought it would be nice to showcase some of our Muppet inspired replicas here... So first I'd like you all to check out our newest full-body Piggy! Completely new head and ear sculpt and longer fiber flocking than the first. She was a complete joy to work on with her late 70's style hair and sporting a more modern slimming torso. So she sort of has the best of both worlds. So below are a few pics from our photo shoot taken the other day, more to come soon. Enjoy!

Great job, i love the muppets! you do great work!.
Great to see more muppety stuff on here.
I plan on doing a gonzo from the oz special a while ago, love that one

Hey TheatreOfPuppets dude, your muppets are great! You've captured Piggy as her glamourous self perfectly. She looks hot! (Ok, I know she's a pig, but I'm a sucker for 70s style hair.:redface :love:redface) And I love the guy in the fedora in your avatar. Who is he?

The Wook

Is piggy's face covered in felt like the other muppets? She always seemed to more sculpted than the rest.

What is the basic process for her build?

Nick

Thanks Wook, Piggy was certainly at her best back then! The guy in the fedora is one of our custom originals..
As for Nick Daring's question... She was completely flocked then air-brushed with the details. Her head can either be sculpted with blades from a block of foam, or sculpted out of clay, then set in stone to create a mold for the liquid foam rubber.

Fantastic work!!! I am just starting to get into puppet making myself so I am soooo happy to see someone's handy work on the RPF. :D

Wow, you've um.. nailed her (you know what I mean).

Piggy doesn't strike me as an easy puppet to make, but you've got her absoluitely spot on!

All your Muppets look simply beautiful TheatreOfPuppets :)
