Military Model Experts - Looking for a CH-53 Helicopter Model

My brother just completed flight school for the Marines, and he's on his way to North Carolina to learn how to fly the CH-53 helicopter.

I was thinking it would make a nice gift if I built him a model of the CH-53, and I was hoping some of our resident modeling experts might be able to point me in the right direction.

So far, I found a 1/48 scale of this made by Academy Models Korea available at Squadron, but as I'm not intimately familar with military models, I was curious if there are better manufacturers out there, good add-ons to purchase, good reference sites, etc.

Any help would be most appreciated.

As far as I know, only Academy makes them at this time.

I have this kit, haven't built it yet. But looked at it, seems to be a good kit. Nice size also. I would recommend it. Just happens to be the Marine version.
