Thought I would share some images of a project that I’ve been working on. It’s my own design, and it seems to be in a perpetual state of change. My initial thought was to design some kind of derelict spacecraft with a haunted vibe. I’m keeping the process fluid, so I may end up in a complete different place when finished. I’m building this in sub assemblies before gluing everything together, due to some paint needed in some hard to get areas. Slowly but surely…..

A little more work on the truss that will hang the fuel tanks. Need to make 2 trusses and a bunch of differing sizes of tanks. At this point, I’m just making it up as I go along….

No it’s all kit parts I have raided from my stash.
I think the flared tube you are referring to is from either the Revell Volstok or the AMT Allison engine.
