Has anyone made one or know where to fond a good replica? Need one in less than two weeks, as nice as possible.

Thanks guys.

Yeah Ive seen those but they are pretty much the rubies/hasbro version of the mask. Im lookin for something a little more substantial and accurate.

Post some cleavage up, that might get people to post, or Iron man. You do have nice cleavage though.

Yeah the officially licensed one is the only one I've ever seen. A really nice leather replica would be cool!

Have a nice day!!!

Ya, it also looks completely different. Foley is a big dude so it looks small on him. I think the best thing to do is hand make it. Should not be to hard. You can tell the original is Cuir Bouilli by boiling the leather in wax, and the ones online are not done this way.

Yeah I found those pics also. I have someone working on one and I'm picking up some scrap leather to try and throw a quick one together myself.

To me it looks like one main piece with lines carved in, the chin cup and the straps. What do you guys think?

forget the mask, forget the leopard print boots, and go get yourself a dye-tie t-shirt and POW you're Dude Love

Get a tattered white shirt, a black tie, and Mr. Socko...BAM! Mick Foley! Don't forget the wig too....unless you have crazy hair like his

The leather is cut at an angle and riveted back together, the bottom chin connection is a give away as it goes all the way though the leather.

You may be right about the chin cup im still tryin to figure that piece out. But the main face piece appears to be simply decorative. On the site you listed one of the side profiles shows the cuts in the leather.

They frayed the edges and turned them over to give it a thicker appearance and you can see those cuts on the side, you can also see the cut along the jaw line and see it end at the edge before the leather is bent over. That makes me think they are only decorative and so are the rivets.

But maybe im seein things wrong this is my first time working with leather, got any tips for me man, sounds like youve done this before.

Here are the pics im talking about, in the first one it looks like the lower front cut ends before it gets to the edge of the fabric. So it made me believe it was only a decorative thing but maybe the leather is to thin for that.

This next pic is an inprogress pic of the mask from the guy who was making it, you can see how he frayed the edges so that he could turn them to make it look thicker. Also it looks like he wet formed the chin cup.

Does anyone have any thoughts on the actual thickness of this leather, I got ahold of some leather from a guy who makes TACK in my local town and it seems like it may be a little thick.

Ya, you're right. It looks great so far. It looks to be medium thick leather, maybe 8 ounce. .125 inch thickness? Just a guess.
