Just worked on Men In Black 3, i did not see anything in person...was in Chrysler building set, but there were alot of artwork of the final props and such and there are some really cool things. they go back to the 60's in the movie and the props are adjusted to the time. They look very retro and cool/. Lots of ray guns. They also have these very very cool motorcycles that are inside a ring! Will rides one. Lots of spaceships that look like bugs. Pretty damn cool!

Very cool! If you get any pics on your phone, we won't tell. :love

Yeah, that is right, you are a lucky guy ... you should bet at the lottery !
You can also steal the new Neuralyzer and adding pics here... I won't tell too !

I ve been wanting to get casted as an extra in MIB for ever. they have the call sign up sheets online all the time. that would be a dream.

I can imagine them going with some very deco looking props for MIB. cigarette cases, shades, fedoras and lots of swagger. can't wait. oh yea plus aliens.

That sounds interesting, awesome you got to take part in it!
As long as it's better than MIB2, I will be happy. :cool

I didn't know this was being made, sounds cool! Is Mr. Jones back too?

*edit* to answer my own question, yes he is.

and it will probably a real neuralyzer... they'll flash it on the audience so they'll forget they saw the movie and make them buy another ticket. it's an endless cycle.

hehe

hey guys, thee is an article in the Hollywood reporter about the movie. They filmed here in NYC last fall and are now back to do a lot of new shooting. Plagued by crap I guess, and lots of script rewrites. Yes there is a neuralizer! not sure u guys r going to like it though. Can't say much more. The guns are cool though

That could be terrible or- if the production design is stellar- really awesome. I would definitely dig the classic 60's federal agent look and feel.

What made the first MiB so great was that they took the premise seriously "in-universe". The aliens, the gadgets, the odd goings-on, were all just matter-of-fact to the MiB yet ridiculous to "J" and by extension, the audience. (And it has some of the best looking props ever put to celluloid!)

The sequel doesn't take the premise seriously....it's all played for laughs. Gone are the subtleties and clever humor of the first.

I hope this third film will be a return to form, although the 60s time travel element doesn't inspire much confidence. :unsure

In any case, I'm anxious to see more!

BTW, anyone remember the animated MIB series? I thought that rocked!

loved the animated series too1

Well, I was there for the one scene with WS. It was played for laughs, a bit silly, but u never know. Lots going on with this production. Who knows, they can do anything in editing!

I've been wanting a J2 gun for so long I can't remember... I missed out on two runs... Was Rick on props on this one? So we can be on the look out for some pretty cool prop guns to come out.. Sweet!!!

Can you elaborate on what you mean by "lots going on with this production"? Is this film as in trouble as the rumors on the internet say? I was a big a fan of the first one and was hopeful on this one.
