Methods of stamping resin?

I'm trying to figure out how to stamp letters into the side of a resin slide I'm using for my Wolfwood build up. I have steel stamps I thought about heating up and pressing into it, but they aren't completely aligned, and doing them one by one might not come out straight. I just don't have the skills or steady hand to do them correctly by hand, so is there a machine or stamp set that I can use?

This is what I need stamped (plus other stuff, but just an idea):

Any and all help is always appreciated!

im afraid that would just snap if you tried to actually "stamp" it. If the heating method works, go with that. Just affix the steel stamps together making them effectively one piece. Try carpet tape to stick them together. NOT double stick tape but actual "carpet tape". They have it at near every hardware store and Home Labyrinth. Wrap them with something flame retardant so you dont burn yourself. Test the stamp on something else first cause you only are going to get one shot at it on the slide.

I would personally find a local engraver and see if they will engrave it for you, look for trinket shops that engrave items like lighters...

If you are scratch building you might consider having it laser cut into some sheet stock and then mating that to the gun in a recess...

There are several members her that have laser engravers, do a search as the only one off the top of my head is Rebelscum but I know for a fact there are a few others as well...

@robstyle - I tried that already it it didn't work mainly because the actual letters are aligned with each other. That would have been the simplest way I think.

@exoray - That is a great idea. I think the Arts & Crafts center here on base engraves name plates for plaques and trophies. I could see if they could do one, and then cast it into a recess in the side of the slide like you said. I just hope they don't freak out when they figure out what it is for haha.
