Men in Black FANS

In the meantime, I'll just stick this poor man's version in my cabinet :lol

Standard/ Standard/ Deluxe

The deluxe version was designed to match the version used for close-ups while the standard was based off the simpler version that was used more.

They have different people do different things on a movie. No one person is usually responsible for making everything. On MIB Rick did the guns and gadgets, Heidi Fink did the jewelry like the cat collar universe thingy and Jeebs stuff, etc. I'm sure they had a paper props guy as well.

Yeah I mixed the folders/cricket questions in my head for some reason.

Couldn't you use the Icons or Unobtainium ones for reference or are they not accurate enough?

I don't really have any money to invest right now, though I would LOVE to have one.

Kind of why I am designing my own. I just wanted to make sure I got the measurements right.

There's a resin Noisy Cricket for 15 bucks in the Junkyard. Just sayin...

Yeah, I think there is several propmakers.... I might have been mistaken !
I fall into this web page Travis Huffman - IMDb

I wanted to make my own, so I made some research... But he looks more
a thermometer with a trigger !

Ed Kline is another prop maker that contributed a few props for the first MIB film, one of them being the beloved Universal Translator.
Most of his creations that made it into MIB, did so without him knowing they were even going to be featured in the film.

He's also the man responsible for a few of the best props in Total Recall.
