Yay, I finally finished one of my little side projects. a high quality Megatron gun. For a couple of years now I wanted a nice wall mounted piece that didn't look like a toy.

Shown with the Colt for scale.

The gun body is from an airsoft Walther P-38. For the accessory parts I started with a donor toy that was molded and heavily modified. Seams were cleaned up and voids filled until it was clean and sharp. Copper and aluminum tubing was used for the barrel and stock, and that also makes it strong and easy to break down for transporting.
Next I'm wanting to mount it to a backlit wall panel, but I may wait to finish the Optimus Prime blaster first and mount them together.
