Medicom's Gremlins Gizmo VCD review

I started a box about 11 years ago. Here was my first attempt.

Here is my build page.:

I am currently making 3 that I will list in the junkyard when they are completed. Just got all the parts
cut for them yesterday.

The new ones are far more accurate then the one I did above.

Also working on more cocoons. I made one years ago too. It's a way to green
in color. Hoping for better results on the next one.

Emmet That is truly good to know! I've spent a lot of money on things that other people really wouldn't understand or appreciate, but those things make me smile when I see them and that's what it's all about.

Any idea why NECA hasn't come out with a better version of Gizmo? Maybe along the lines of something like the Gremlins stunt puppets? Seems like it would be common sense.

Anyone come across (or able to take) a picture of the Medicom Gizmo next to the Jun Planning Mohawk? I know the Mohawk is not to scale, but I'd be interested to see just how off it is.

I have to say I was a bit hesitant at first to drop $275 on this, but after reading through this thread I was convinced it would be worth it. I was not let down. After a bit of grooming I am very pleased with this and would do it all over again.

What modifications did you make? Just a comb or did you trim it as well?

P.S. Does anyone know where I can still get one of these for a reasonable price? Like £300 and under?

I trimmed and combed him. It makes a huge difference.

I'm not sure where you can get one now. Sorry. Good luck.

Did you use a wet comb, or does the hair literally stay in place just from dry combing it?

Thank you so much! I found this site before, but then I started exploring another avenue that fell through and forgot all about this place! Put in an order last night, CAN'T WAIT!

I don't think I am supposed to own one of these little fella's! Now my parcel has gone missing :(

This is really bad, you've already send the seller a message or the transport company.

The courier won't tell me much but they reckon it's still on it's way to the UK. But surely it can't be in transport for 3 days?

It sure can!

Customs can take up to a month sometimes depending where you are

Be Cool. If I buy something from uk for example, that always 4 - 7 days sometimes longer, so stay calm.

It's not the wait that bothers me, it's the fact the tracking information was last updated nearly 72 hours ago! Surely it can't be on the road for that long?

I have had packages show up at the door and a week later showing it was finally delivered! :lol
