MCU Spider-Man Build (SPOILERS)

What do you guys think about the center spider? Indented or extruded?

I'm just guessing slightly extruded based off of the shading. Could be wrong, of course.

You would have to go about using small arms to move each blade as a traditional iris design would be problematic due to there being no circle to rotate around

size would also be an issue for the mechanism to drive the blades to open and close as the iris itself can be super thin due to the materials used

The only way I can see this working in an actual costume is by making the mask have some sort of small space between the users face and the mask itself. If there is a small space between the face and the mask it would mean that the blades would have more room to move without ruining the look and be able to accommodate for a drive mechanism to open and close the blades of the iris.
The arms would not be needed because small blocks( material sticking out under each blind) forcing each piece hitting it to move when another is moved(you can see it in my drawing, i made a key for it), and yeah it would need just a little bit of extra space in the faceplate, but i was thinking of using a wire system, kind of like a bicycle's brakes, to have the servo somewhere else on the body.

It's always good to see multiple ideas to find a solution to a problem, the only issue is somewhere to place the electronics still which will be the main concern in the plan, i look forward to see something from your idea has potential I might look into my arm idea, the wire mechanism is neat little touch tho.

I just can get my head around where the electronics could be placed without the visual integrity ruined I mean you could go with a manual system but then that would bring its own issues.

Hmmm challenges :)

The chest spider is indented like the vertical webbing. The legs of the spider seem to be stitched in or how ever the horizontal lines are achieved

Also I have noticed this suit is highly referencing a majority of the standard Spidey suit from the main seven issues of the Civil War comics.

I'm pretty confident on what most of the suit looks like, but I just wish we could get a picture of the back of the belt. I think it's going to continue the black to connect with the other side, but I'm not %100 sure

It looks like the black on the belt might stop at about halfway on the side, and become mostly red. Or at least more red. But it really is hard to tell without a good look at the back.

Huh... It does kind of look like it goes to the thickness that it is on the chest....

Because these fancy threads (and mechanical lenses) were most likely brought to him by Stark technology. A kid can't cobble this up (one hopes this time)

Although I do agree that it was Stark. But that doesn't mean it's iron spider

So after looking at the HD pic of the suit for around an hour, it looks like the eyes are even more complicated than I originally thought... It looks like there are around 15 moving pieces on it, with one frame around everything. I also noticed that the outer 5 pieces look like they don't move as much, since all of the others had gray marks, presumably from the metal scratching. I sketched up what it looks like both "open" and "closed"
