So I thought i would get crafty and use saran wrap after i puff paint.. I do not recommend doing this! anyone know how to get this off in a faster fashion?

Oh no! That's unfortunate! What were you trying to do with the saran wrap? was the puff paint wet when you put it on? you might try putting the whole piece under the faucet and gently scrubbing the saran wrap off. It should be nearly enough to take off the puff paint, but might loosen the saran wrap. Also for future projects, you'll save yourself a big headache if you test new techniques on practice pieces first. That way you get the learning curve out of the way and know whether to proceed on the actual suit. Hope everything works out!

when i finish the puff paint i let it dry. i didnt want it to stick to each other when i fold them up and ship it to get it sewn.

some updates on puff paint. pretty much done. checking if McLean will be able to just print the right arm as the saran wrap wont come off. :cry

got asics dirt dog in red on ebay but my normal size, 9.5. hopefully it wont be too big after neoprene socks. otherwise i would have to sell it

All puff paint is done.I'm excited to say the man himself, McLean, sent the extra piece I messed up yesterday. Once I get it it'll take me a couple of hours to puff paint. I'll send my suite to Trophywife next week to get it sewn!

Ive had a major disaster with mine, both my arms are ruined. Basically I puffy painted both hands, and then moved onto the webbing once dried, I did most of the webbing on the hands, used the rest of one bottle up started a new bottle shook it and did a bit on both, and to my horror the black has bled really bad, totally gutted to say the least.

One thing I did notice once the pot gets low, chuck it as thats when its going to spit at you suit.

Can I ask what applicator tip you are using?

I havent done any blue yet is it easier to get the hexagons down as their bigger, as I seem to have lost it in the red a little?

The hexagon I used a tip from a hobby store. Its like the one from the metal mechanical pencil tip. Once you're used to the small hex, its a piece of cake on the bigger ones. I used the one that came with the bottle. The thing about puff painting is you have to have a LOT of patients. Dont rush. Take your time. Sorry to hear about the black paint. Sometimes you either need to shake it more and let it settle or you got a bad bottle. This seems to happen to a few people. The other thing I can think of is that you may have stretched it too much to puff paint?

With shoes glued on. Even with 2 socks, the shoes a little big. Its a size 9.5 and I wear between a 10 and 9.5. I just bought what I can find at that time especially its being the original color and a great deal off eBay. Waiting on the lense and mask from Joelai. Hopefully that will be here by next week.
