Mauser replica size question

Hello all! I stumbled across these shell ejecting toy guns and came across this Mauser which looks semi-decent for a TFA DL-44 build but not sure if they're the right dimensions . Ive stumbled across a few of the cheap plastic airsoft versions and they're mostly either too small or too big but these look pretty close judging from the pictures and YouTube video.

Has anyone ever purchased one of these?

There should be a larger version of this image somewhere, but I don't have it. Sorry.

I'd suspect plastic toys to be thicker than the real thing though. The front part of the top receiver (not the rails) should be 0.866" thick.or 22.0 mm with the cutouts behind it ~20 mm.

Yeah I've seen that in some airsoft the plastic versions are thicker than the real deal but they do offer a full metal version on this site wonder if it's close to a real Mauser

If you search for them on AliExpress, you can find what's almost certainly the same thing for about half the price. Of course if you're American there's a chance of Trump's Tariff War adding to that and if you're not American there's a risk of some customs dude deciding it's a replica weapon, but it's still a less expensive way to experiment.

Depends what you really what the outcome to be. Some of the toys have a close size, but don't have the detail and vice versa.

I got a $6 toy, scratch built the parts and it turned out alright.
