Hi! I'm Ash from Australia.
I'm a member of the 501st legion (#6053) and have been costuming for a little over a year now.
Below are a few costumes I have completed and I'm extremely proud of.
Bo Katan - Star Wars - The Clone Wars Animated Series season 4 and 5
I am currently upgrading the costume for smaller gauntlets, making the rangefinder move, and also I am going to do the 'helmet-off' version. Just gotta find the time and funds ^_^ Overall this build took me from November 2012 til May 2013 to complete. I estimated it's value to be at least AUD$2500. I got the best of everything from all the makers and suppliers and couldn't be happier. I got inspired to make this costume as she's got attitude (like I do) and she kicks ass (like I do) I wanted a face character mandalorian costume but as I'm only 5ft tall and tiny it was hard for me to do Boba Fett or Jango (although I get called Jango A LOT) This build caused me many tears and tantrums but I'm very proud of her and will keep her for a very long time.
Biker Scout - Star Wars - Return of the Jedi
As I am WAAAAY too short to be a stormtrooper, I decided that a biker scout is more my style. Besides, we can sit down and we get to go on the motocoaster every year in costume. This build cost me around AUD$800 to build and only took me about a month. I got it from studiocreations which come with some fantastic instructions on how to build the costume.
