Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Based on the previews is Ms Price a "bad guy" or is she being used? Also, you go Phil!

So, towards the end of the scene where SHIELD enters the building to capture Lash, did anyone else think, "shoruken!" or, "Ken vs. Blanca. Fight!" when Lincoln was charging up? I actually said both out loud during that scene, to the annoyance of my wife.

Lincoln storming through the building to find Lash was beyond obnoxious - stupid, lazy, unbelievable storytelling in what's been otherwise a pretty sharp season. There's absolutely no reason why they would have brought Lincoln along nor let him loose in the op.

Why is season 2 on disc an Amazon exclusive? Season 1 wasn't. The price is outrageous!! Shows like this I usually like to have a hard copy of in my library, but I certainly will not be picking this one up any time soon, until either the price goes down or there are some good used copies available.

It's a shame too, because I don't have NETFLIX and I was really wanting to watch season 2 again.

So is that ATCU woman still BSing Coulson or was she really duped? The last episode made us think she was in on it, but she really might have been reporting to a higher up. I really loved Ward's airplane announcement before he bailed! :lol

I'm inclined to think that Ms. ATCU is for real, she did help Hunter & Bobbi get away, but then again, that could just be her playing the long game to regain Coulson's trust and really get him to let his guard down. Hard to say, I'm not very good at guessing these sorts of things, I tend to be the trusting type my instincts could be wrong.

Speaking of the ATCU, what does it stand for anyway? Did they ever explain it previously? I tried looking it up and I couldn't find anything either, although it could be I wasn't using specific enough search terms.

Called it: misdirection. But, I am willing to admit the misdirection might be a misdirection and she really is Hydra.

The line from the previous episode was something like "I'll deliver him to you....something something" I still say she's a baddy!

Advanced Threat Containment Unit.

I have my own theory about the ATCU.

I see it as more of Malick using his resources and influence (he did work with The President and was on the World Security Council) to create a legitimate government agency with a legitimate purpose that services his own HYDRA goals. It actually is a much better model than infiltration, as you don't have to work your way into a pre-set space. You just build the space around you that can withstand even the strongest scrutiny and that allows you to move freely.

How is that price outrageous? It's $5 more than what Amazon is currently charging for season 1.

Finally caught up on the last three episodes. Wow what a ride. So I guess Andrew will be toast and Lark will come out leading to some final conflict between him and the team. I like how they keep pushing Ward deeper and deeper down into his own personal hell. He has not lost it so much that he is just killing normal people yet (meaning non-combatants) but he is getting way out there. I too enjoyed his message while departing the airplane. Still think there is a chance for redemption for him? :) I have a feeling that Fitz and Simmons will be finding one of those monolith fragments. Interesting that Hydra is 1000's of years old. It would be neat if we start getting some of the backstory on that. Since we are turning symbols upside down:

Anything?

Now the question is: Were the astronauts Hydra or unwitting sacrifices?

Good question, I'm inclined to say no and that they were just unwitting pawns.
I was going to agree, but if I recall the start of the season correctly, it looked like the person who got sent through on that episode was chosen from a group sitting around a table. I assume that group were all members.
