It was just Valspar (I think) spray paint on neoprene. It's worked well enough but I'd maybe do a liquid latex based paint out of a spray gun.

Thanks! I really appreciate it. I hope it inspires more to take on a Mars Attacks project. I'd love to see what others come up with.

Ha, I'm planning on keeping it at the moment or at least until someone offers to buy it. But I'll keep you in mind just in case!
