Mark X Tricorder Electronics?

I have always wanted to own a tricorder prop from Star Trek. Now I can get one from Roddenberry.com, but they don't sell the electronic upgrades for their TNG tricorder kits. I have looked around and the name GMProps came up on some board, and I can't find them anywhere. Does anyone know where I can purchase the necessary upgrades. I saw some tricorders that are sold all built up with sound and lights, but I don't feel like spending upwards of $800.00 for something that I can myself.

All leads appreciated!!

GMprop has a set on Ebay right now.

Thanks for the heads-up. However, I think I am actually going to wait to see what Master Replicas has to offer. I understand that they will be producing TNG Mark X tricorder sometime this year, and I believe it may be in the $300s price range.

The Mark X was never used in TNG iirc

Mr is doing another Tric I forget which Model.

Looks like they are doing the Mark IX Science

Oh, okay. Then the Mark IX Science tricorder. Is there any information that's up to date on that prop production?

Nothing yet.

Jorge just keep watching the forums at Mr.

Some people were asking Amy for an update on the Tric!

The Mk IX is no different from the Mark X save for a sticker that identifies it as a Mk IX rather than a Mk X. Originally the IX was a science and the X was a medical, but somewhere along the line the science tric was relabeled to be Mk X as well.

The TNG Tricorders were the Mk VI and the Mk VII.

The Roddenberry store now has a bunch of electronics kits up, including the MarkX and Mark IX tricorders!
