Mandalorian - Shano Andora

Good evening.

I am building a custom Mandalorian costume that is mostly red and black, and looks almost like a cross between Darth Vader and Boba Fett.

So far only the helmet is finished, but I've taken photos of the entire buildup and have just finished the tutorial on my website.

You did the entire helmet in metal (well, for the most part)... That's a great job! Even working electronic parts!:thumbsup

The entire process is a real eye candy for people like me!

I'm glad you all liked it I don't know if my armor will be anything special, just some thick plastic shaped with a hot air gun.

I used a pair of tin-cutters to cut all the aluminum.

I'm glad it was good enough to be eye candy then

If you mean the edges around the neck opening, the edge around the back is sort of thin because of the thin metal that was used, but not like it chopps off my fingers when I hold the helmet, other than that, it's thick enough.

That's a gorgeous helmet! Great color scheme, and it's even more amazing that it's mostly metal. Bet you could have a lot of fun at conventions... "Here.... hold my helmet for a second" :lol

@Stinky Dragon - Thanks I guess people have seen on my website that I like black and red. I have lots of sheet metal all over this place, so it's easier for me to make it out of that then to find something else, makes it stronger too. I'm hoping to get it ready for a big event here in Norway soon, and I'm sure it will be very fun
