Agreed. her publicist can float her name out there all they want, and she can make all the phone calls she wants, but I just don't see this happening.
And what's the "major role?" If they're looking to cast an irresponsible, self-entitled, drug and booze addled jewelery thief, they may be on the right track...

If you listen very carefully, you can actually HEAR this movie bombing next year.

None of this sits well with me. First of all, due to the time crunch and legal issues, they only had a certain amount of time to throw all of this together.
After Darren Aronofsky told them that the script "needed more work" and walked away they promptly hired Snyder who said 'I'll shoot the script as is."
So, they got themselves a yes man who will bend over backwards for the hefty pay check.
The casting all seems really misguided to me as well.
I bet they spend 3 weeks shooting this film and then 18 months post production making everything CG.
This movie just may make 'Superman Returns" look like a masterpiece.

Yeah, can't say the news is making me optimistic. And Zod again? Come on. I know Hollywood can't come up with an original thought to save its ass, but it's not like there aren't OVER SEVENTY YEARS WORTH OF SUPERMAN COMICS from which to draw another villain.
I smell a movie designed by committee with the intention of cashing in as fast as possible on the brand. In other words, I smell typical Hollywood and it stinks.
