Nope I did it all free hand and the transferred it to the foam! But I could make some templates and post pics of them of you would like!

Awesome, that's what I'd hoped you would say. I've been doing Iron patriot, Iron Man, and Thor costumes for my boys for comic con this year, so I've been keeping it simple (not going into a 8ton* of extra detail for kids costumes). When I get around to doing stuff for me out of foam I'll likely get a bit more intricate.

I will admit there is a bit of a learning curve! But you get used to it quick and the foam is so cheap that you can afford to mess up, it's about 12.99 for 4 prices at Walmart!

I'm going to use a black morph suit, I bought a blue one to try and keep it accurate to the film but it is too light, I have heard of people doing a plastic coat but I am unsure how to donut myself and am also afraid I would lose detail

Very inspiring, this looks awesome. I am just finishing up 2 suites for my kids, and starting a Jor El for myself as well. I am doing the robe he wore in other scenes.

Construction complete on the gauntlets and beltmoulded and recast the "house of El" emblem to make finer details"house of El" emblem painted and attached
