After spending the last half of a year working on a 1966 Airstream, I've decided to give myself a bit of a distraction. On the bright side I now have more tools than I know what to do with.
My plan is to build a costume based off of Ziggs from League of Legends, specifically the Major Ziggs skin.
I've done some work in making opening the original model itself in Pep, but the more I examine the model, the less I think that this build will require it outside of the helmet itself. For the most part, I'm imagining a fursuit-styled head, and a normal replica/re-enactment costume beneath it.
I'm trying to come up with various ideas and resources for these pieces that can either be made, or altered. I was hoping to find generalized sources from some of you that might point me in the right direction for parts.
The helmet/head I'm fairly certain I've got settled, I've been able to find good tutorials for fursuit stuff out there. The goggles concern me the most. At various optometry offices they tend to have those big plastic lenses that are used for tint options. I'd like to find something that was both green, and mirrored. Has anyone gone to a local place and asked them to tint something for specifically for them? I had thought about cutting up ski goggles but those are quite expensive.

The coat seems very British army, but I haven't found anything incredibly close. Are there any reliable re-enactment replica websites that anyone would suggest?
This coat is very, very close. I've contacted the seller about making something specific since it would require fairly minor changes. It's more than I'd prefer to spend, but possible: http://www.etsy.com/listing/89031111/mens-18th-century-coat-1770s?show_panel=true
The boots also worry me a bit. I'd like to find something quality looking, but not overly expensive.
I already own these, which are close enough to possibly work due to funds: http://www.fluevog.com/code/?w[0]=gender:men&w[1]=attribute:Boot&pp=1&view=detail&p=22&colourID=2940
Possible Boots: http://www.re-enactmentshop.com/webshop/18th-century/shoes
Also: http://jas-townsend.com/product_info.php?products_id=244&osCsid=4bbfe12ed012ae764e6da85629b26b1a
Both of these are more than I'd prefer to spend.
Anyways, lots of questions. I will definitely post pictures as this project moves along. My girlfriend is planning on doing Wicked Lulu, so hopefully I can work some photos from that in here.
