Hi there!
I am working on my own screen accurate (or at least a first run at it) Mad Max: The Road Warrior costume.
During the process I tried to find what some of the original parts were made of.
The best accessory I have to my costume is my dog, Tanq, who is an Australian Cattle Dog (or Blue Heeler).
This is going to sound silly, but I set my sights on figuring out which bone was used in the movie to tie to the shotgun, and I found it!
This is a Nylabone Original/Bone and the size is Wolf/Medium, which is 5.5". Here it is on Amazon: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B0002ASLRC

Anyway, I kinda thought this was a cute distraction from the seriousness of costume replication, and maybe someone as obsessive as me will do a search and find their answer now!
