i would look the house first, you can get a lot of plastic from waste bins bucket, bowls. also look at the rear of shops/business to see what been thrown out. Take a walk around where yo live for skips or building works if you ask nicely most people dont mind giving you stuff even try friends and family just say your looking for a large piece of plastic

Thanks for the response! I haven't worked much with plastics, would I be able to shape something like a piece of trashcan with a heat gun?

You might try looking around thrift shops. Sometimes you can find football shoulder pads, which I believe that is what they are made from.

I've been keeping my eyes peeled for them there, I just haven't found many thrift stores in my area (not to say there aren't any I may just be bad at looking), and I went by a Play It Again Sports this afternoon (didn't even realize they still existed) which had some options but not exactly thrift store prices. At the very least I know the option is there though if I'm unable to scratch build something.

Okay so I figured I would turn this into a thread about the costume as a whole, as well as adding the Furiosa I'm building for my wife.
