Fantastic ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Ilove it hope to die cast and make this guns too

Supply and demand is what makes this hobby so darn expensive. Recently got ahold of a couple MGC mausers that cost me a LOT. http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20161209/5b680fb713d0c464feb6498d8d6b84d5.jpghttp://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20161209/a81f95ebe4f5fa5d453b54d18011fef3.jpg

Ill have a reasonable replica soon,, the real ones have a lot of vultures circling .

Long story short I was supposed to buy it from him a few months ago in a package deal but he couldn't find it (the M19). I still got an awesome package deal so I'm still very happy.

I have 4 or 5 of them so if I ever decide to sell any you'll be second in line :) (maybe first since youre willing to pay ALOT for these)

Congrats on the buy

My m38 had the hex screws on it oddly enough. Now I feel the need for new accurate screws... what is this disease and how do I cure it????

Sorry no cure,,, LOL
This worm hole is very deep , one part----one build always leads to the next group of parts..

You got the pic? im programming right now!!!

I'd suggest making these hex screws with the 2 different head thickness' as seen on Skywalker's live-fire ESB DL-44 blaster- it has 2 different sizes.

Tomm1999 if you got a pic id love to see more examples...

Yeah mine have the M19 style

I think earlier m38 scopes may have had the bigger hex ones also ??????

I've got 2 M-19s & 1 M-32 as well as a M-38, and have owned others. The M-38 came w/ 2 flat-head fillister screws, while the former came w/ hex head bolts.

Skywalker Cloud City DL-44 blaster: 2 different thickness' of bolt head. Boba Debt had these made for his run of parts.

Looks very close,,,, i wonder if the bracket was counter sunk on the rear screw to make it not stick out as far ?????????????
wish i had some dimensions on those brackets i could pop them out on the cnc quick

No. There are two specs of head thickness, coming from different scopes. My M32 came with thinner bolts than the M19s, and I THINK the production just mis-matched two sets, because the Han and Luke Live Fires show both have the two different thickness bolt heads. I have examples of both real ones from my many scopes.

I just found these screw on one of my m19,, there is shoulder on these that they probably counter sunk , and the head is thinner...

That looks like i know it, and made from steel, i suppose.

Your earlier posted ones look like brass - that and the surface of the scope makes me wonder if the scope has been reworked/repainted by a prop collector, and the brass bolts were made to replace the missing originals.

Not sure if it is repainted,, i think this one is from the periscope... the bolts on the right are directly from the mounting system,,, the m19 on the left is the other version
The steel smaller screw is a copy of the m38 m40 mounting screws they are black painted steel.
Ive got two other m19s ill check there screws when i get a chance....
I got some 7/16 brass hex stock in ,, im going to make a hand full of these next week(several versions LOL )

maybe not sure

The screw thicknesses do vary. I had a quick look at a three I was able to get to easily and my 1941 and one 1942 has a slightly thinner screw. The other 1942 had a thicker screw.
Every single M38 type scope I have had the screw have been circular.

Aye, the M38 had those small round heads.

Not saying you can´t be right - it´s just that all full threaded brass versions i´ve seen (up to now) were fan-made. The real ones from M19 always had a part threaded shaft, only.
But off course that´s only what i´ve seen, and i havn´t seen every fabricated one. :p

No bad idea, replacement bolts are harder to get than scopes itself. :)
