Man. Reeeeely tempted to ebay the skyhopper and decals, and do a repaint/weathering project. Only trick is I've never painted over ABS type plastic. I'm guessing ordinary hobby paints won't grab that surface.

They will if you prime it properly! Just find something intended for plastic. Rustoleum Painter's Touch 2X comes to mind.

I pulled the trigger. Should be here in a week or two. I'm definitely repainting mine and I'll be doing new decals too!

Mines arrived, it's gorgeous. I plan to do a full repaint, better decals and mods. Can't wait
