Luke's ROTJ SandStorm Goggles

Just received these…looking spot on IMHO, but I have to replace the nose cover with a longer one

going to be a fun project, when I cleared my list of other things I have to address first

Cool, I wonder how that looks after a major clean-up.

What "major clean-up" are you talking about?
These are as clean as it can get for an item from the 60´s...NOS (or at least UNnoticeably used)

Here’s the pair I picked up.

Wow...THAT IS IT!

Could you please take a picture/ scan of the nose guard (with a ruler nearby), so I can reproduce it.

COngrats man!

Sure thing! I’ll message you some initial ones and then we can post a diagram and pictures here. My scanner is broken, so it will be some quick iPhone picture.

I had to put it in this acrylic holder to hold it flat.

*edit: realized the red measurement of 55mm might be confusing. That is at an angle from the bridge of the nose to the longest part. The blue measurement of 54mm is straight down.

Thank you for this! It's hugely helpful. And congratulations on finding the exact model!

Here is a shot of both pairs of goggles I purchased along with the lenses. One set is up for grabs in the Junkyard currently. I'm really looking forward to doing the build on these because it should be very straight forward.

I finally got around to converting a pair of these goggles. They're a neat little prop and one you don't see everyday. The first image is of the screen used pair from Brandon Alinger's book that was shared to me by a friend who was able to enhance the image for better clarity. The remaining images are of my vintage pair that I converted.
