I know they don't have a clamp nor come with one. my question is will a graflex clamp fit on these. from the photos on the first page, it looks like it would be close comparing the graflex to the hero

I would assume that it wouldn't fit so snuggly. The Graflex clamps are designed to fit around a 1.5" diameter, and I believe that this saber is skinnier than that.

O.K., here is the status as of this morning. Pommels still on the mill ( this operation is very time consuming).
Copper neck piece is on the lathe. I grabbed one for a few pics to show you guys just how nice they are turning out.




Sorry for the less than stellar pics, my camera is obviously not the best.
Our saber is 11 1/4 inches long, which I believe was the accepted length from the more knowledgeable amongst us.
As you can see on the pommel it has that flat step up in the grooves which was apparent on the photos that were supplied to me.
I'm very pleased with the fit and finish on the parts, nice and clean.
