Lucasfilm Archives video tour

What fun it would be if Lucas opened a Lucasfilm museum to display all these wonderful props, models and costumes for fans worldwide to see 'with thier own eyes'

Thanks for joining us Brian, it is nice to finally put a face to the person being the camera of that very cool mini-documentary of the archives.

Thank you Sir!!!! Maybe I'll find all of the original footage one day...

All right you guys...

Here's another photo I found... Me wearing the Stormtrooper Helmet, with a Blaster, and my friend wearing Indiana Jones' Hat with his whip (actually, he had two of the whips around his arm... you can see an asset tag on the whip...).... You can also barely see the Indiana Jones Jacket on a rack behind us, and I'm standing in front of Princess Leia's Dress... I posted a closeup photo of me in the helmet before, but I also found this one where the Indiana Jones stuff is not cut out... I think this is 1992...

What would you all say if I told you that over HALF OF ALL OF MY NEGATIVES were stolen or lost at a Photo Shop in Lake arrowhead, CA in the year 2000?....(Photo Express, 28200 Highway 189, Lake Arrowhead, CA, 92352) sigh.... that is why the photos I post are fuzzy... old scans from 2000.... if I had the negatives, with today's technology... they would be crystal clear....

See... Like I said.... Crappy, fuzzy bad scans from the year 2000... or wait, maybe this scan was from 1997...old technology..... no negatives.... sigh..... dammit..... but I do have closeups of the helmet somewhere that are clear...

Do anyone have more pictures and info on this particular LFL Archive helmet?

Yes. I had completely forgotten about this topic, but have been looking for pictures of this one for a while, so when I saw the thread pop up again just today I thought I'd post. It's so cool that you are the one who shot that video and that you are so gracious to share the experience and additional pictures with us. :cheers

Thanks for sharing your great pics!!! You wouldn't happen to have any concept Tie or/and Xwing pics would you?

I'd hire a PI to go after the negatives that were stolen.... :ninja That must have been a major letdown at the time...

Now that people have seen these photos, it might be possible to track down the ones that were stolen since by this time they might have been posted somewhere or shown to someone.

Ok...

Here's another pic... (did somebody say Boushh costume?..well, I don't know if I have any single photos of it...) I have received a couple of emails with people asking me if I had shots of certain items... I'll just let everyone know that I actually have to go through 3 storage units to find my other original photos from the shoot...

I wanted to post these photos for about 14 years... but I was always afraid I shouldn't... I only recently put a few of them up for others to see some of them... I have a closeup picture of the 6 foot painting of the Death Star Hangar that the Millennium Falcon flew into... would something like that be ok to post?.. or would I need permission from the artist?..

Anyway, I do intend on finding the photos, and I will keep you all updated as I find more...

such a cool thread.
I love the LFL archive tour, you did. I guess I inhaled it in big doses, nearly every day back then, when the Video and LD boxes came out:$ I´ve copied it on my DVD now, and still watch it from time to time!!!
